When the boat came to the shore we got to go on it. The beach was safe to go. when we went on the boat, we got to row. The captain told us a lie: he said,

“There is no chips or sweets to eat.”

Quietly, I went to check but I saw a bowl of the lollies and chips. The captain was flying to escape. He was floating up and down to get back to the island. The people on the boat were scared and worried. They went and ate the food so the captain would not get any.

 

Once upon a time there was a girl. She was working on her laptop but she made a big mess and there was dirt all over the floor. The girl went to sit on a bench outside. She went to the shop and then the girl got chased by some birds because the girl had bread with seeds on it. So she sat on the bench. One bird was looking out to her. It told all the birds to come and chase the girl. Suddenly, the birds came and attacked her. They looked like they are all crowded around her.

In a hole that is home  once lived a little baby mouse. It was so hungry if it got out it couldn’t get  up so it starves but there was some close by so” it jump down” it got the food it was not hungry again so the mouse got stuck so it got something it was a box so the little mouse went to go get a piece of grass it was so hungry it fell fast  asleep. It got super sick, it needed medicine. The mouse got medicine and it lived happily ever after.

In writing, we have been learning about writing techniques. One of the techniques is called dialogue.

Here is an example of dialogue I wrote for the silent movie “Ruckus”. I made up the dialogue for two thieves who are fighting for a diamond.

 

“That mine” demanded Jesse.

” If you don’t give me that I  will  take it ”   threatened Jesse .

” no it not .”
